  • Anywhere! We currently have carers that are able to service Wagga Wagga, Mudgee, Orange, Dubbo, Armidale, Uralla, Guyra, Tamworth, Gunnedah, Quirindi, Werris Creek, Narrabri, Inverell, Moree, Boggabri & Glen Innes. However, if you’re outside these locations and require a babysitter, get in touch and we’ll start the process in sourcing you someone amazing!

  • You pay a booking fee of $30 (10 days or less) or $25 (11+ days). This doesn’t include the hourly rate your pay your babysitter.

  • You sure can! We are always wanting to expand our reach. Sometimes it just takes a booking to reach those carers! You won’t be charged a booking fee until we secure you a babysitter. So, if we can’t find you a carer within due time, you will not be charged a fee.

  • All of our carers have had an interview where we chat and get to know them, their experience & qualifications. We then verify their Working with Children Check & perform a reference check.

  • All of our carers have a current Working with Children Check, excellent references, experience working with children, a current drivers licence & are aged 18+. Most of our carers have a current first aid certificate.

  • Unfortunately you can’t claim the CCS subsidy when booking a babysitter or nanny through our agency.

  • To book a casual babysitter/nanny, complete the booking form via ‘Book Now’.

  • When booking a casual nanny or babysitter you pay a booking fee and you pay your carer directly by cash or bank transfer. Our carers are employed for themselves and are responsible for their own tax & super obligations.

  • Although all of our carers are highly recommended by us, we understand that sometimes you might not gel with someone. We will send you a feedback form to complete after the booking which we then relay constructive feedback to the carer.

  • You sure can! If you have a preferred babysitter, we’ll do our best to match them to your booking.

  • We require our bookings to be a minimum of 3 hours so that is worth the while for our babysitters.

  • Absolutely, you can! At Rural Nannies, we've designed our website to be user-friendly and accommodating to your needs. When booking a babysitter, you have the convenience of selecting and adding multiple dates within a single booking. This feature not only streamlines the process but also ensures that you can secure care for all the dates you require in one go, making it quicker and easier for you to use our services.

  • We totally get it – life happens, and plans can change, especially when little ones are involved! At Rural Nannies, we strive to be as flexible as possible to accommodate your needs.

    In the event that you need to cancel a booked and confirmed babysitter, we kindly ask for as much notice as you can provide. To ensure fairness for our caregivers, if a cancellation occurs within 24 hours of the booking start time, Rural Nannies reserves the right to charge a cancellation fee.

    The fee amounts to 3 hours of the minimum hourly rate, which is $25.00 per hour, totalling $75.00.

  • It's super easy to cancel or reschedule your booking with us! If you need to cancel, you can do so at any time by simply clicking the 'cancel or change' link in your confirmation email or the reminder emails you receive. You'll be directed to a page where you can manage your appointment.

    If you need to reschedule your booking, just reach out to us directly via email at hello@ruralnannies.com.au, and we'll be happy to make the necessary changes on our end.
